About
Hi I’m Fi Powers. It all started at school, little illustrations in the margin of English books to illustrate my course work. I knew very early on that illustration was what I wanted to do, and it still is.
An art foundation led to gaining a BA in Illustration at Maidstone College of Art alongside Tracey Emin. It’s safe to say that our life experiences have led to differing styles and career paths.
Many years as a freelance illustrator and art worker in London led to a huge variety of work including shop displays, book and magazine illustration and art-working/visualising projects.
My love of pattern, texture and colour, married to inspiration taken from mid-20th Century and Scandinavian design are the styles seen in much my work
I now live in Bath, working regularly with Book publishers and design companies on various illustration, design and art working projects.
I am proficient in all Adobe software.
